15 – 16 сентября 2020 года в Светлогорске, Калининградской область состоялся региональный полуфинал «Балтика» всероссийского конкурса «Мастера гостеприимства» - проекта президентской платформы «Россия – страна возможностей» и Общенационального Союза Индустрии Гостеприимства (ОСИГ).
В конкурсе приняли участие 80 конкурсантов из 29 регионов России, показавшие лучшие результаты на этапе дистанционного тестирования. Участники представили свои проекты в сфере туризма и поборолись за возможность получить в наставники именитых рестораторов, отельеров и управленцев в индустрии гостеприимства, гранты на реализацию проектов, образовательные сертификаты, приглашения на стажировки и работу в ведущих туристических компаниях.
Во время конкурсных испытаний полуфинала участники прошли комплексную оценку деловых и личностных качеств, решали индивидуальны и групповые аналитические задания, представляли свои проекты и участвовали в обучающих мероприятиях с приглашенными экспертами. Финалистами конкурса стали 19 участников из 13 регионов. Президент МЭЦ Л.В.Гелибтерман был приглашён на полуфинал в качестве эксперта проекта и члена жюри.
Жюри конкурса, в которое вошли кроме президента МЭЦ также Андрей Ермак, Министр по культуре и туризму Калининградской области, Грант Бабасян, президент ОСИГ, Антон Сериков, руководитель направления по работе с партнерами АНО «Россия – страна возможностей», Андрей Игнатьев, президент Российского союза туриндустрии, Постоянный представитель Республики Калмыкия при Президенте Российской Федерации Сангаджи Тарбаев, вице-президент корпорации Синергия Ольга Грищенко и директор Регионального информационного центра туризма Калининградской области Галина Офицерова отобрали для участия в большом финале в Москве 6 проектов. Региональные полуфиналы конкурса «Мастера гостеприимства» уже состоялись во многих городах России. В октябре ещё один полуфинал пройдёт в городе Салехард (ЯНАО), президент МЭЦ Л.В.Гелибтерман приглашён на него в качестве эксперта и члена жюри.

September 15-16, 2020, regional semi-finals “Baltika” of the Russian national competition “Masters of Hospitality” was held in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad Region. The competition is a project of the presidential platform “Russia – The Land of Opportunities” and the National Union of the Hospitality Industry.
80 competitors from 29 regions of Russia took part in the competition, showing their best results at the remote testing stage. The participants presented their projects on tourism and competed for the opportunity to have eminent restaurateurs, hoteliers and managers in the hospitality industry as mentors, grants for project implementation, educational certificates, and invitations to internships and work in leading hospitality companies.
During the competitive tests of the semi-finals, the participants underwent a comprehensive assessment of their business and personal qualities, solved individual and group analytical tasks, presented their projects and participated in training events with invited experts.
19 participants from 13 regions became finalists of the competition. President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy Gelibterman L.V. was invited to the semifinals as a project expert and member of the jury.
The jury of the competition, which included, in addition to the President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy Gelibterman L. V., Andrei Yermak, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Kaliningrad Region, Grant Babasyan, President of OSIG, Anton Serikov, Head of Partner Relations of "Russia - Land of Opportunities", Andrey Ignatiev, President of the Russian tourism Union, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kalmykia to the President of the Russian Federation Sangadzhi Tarbaev, Vice President of Synergy Corporation Olga Grishchenko and Director of the Regional Information Center for Tourism of the Kaliningrad Region Galina Ofitserova selected 6 projects to participate in the grand final in Moscow.
Regional semi-finals of the Masters of Hospitality competition have already taken place in many cities of Russia. In October, another semifinal will be held in the city of Salekhard (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous region), President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy Gelibterman L. V. was invited to it as an expert and member of the jury.
