30-31 августа президент МЭЦ Л.В.Гелибтерман принимал участие в работе жюри российского отборочного тура European Street Food Awards. Десятки тысяч калининградцев и гостей города стали участниками обширной программы городского пикника уличной еды на острове Канта. Более 60 проектов из России, Беларуси, Польши и Эстонии предлагали гостям мясо и рыбу, плов и долму, блинчики и пахлаву, кофе и морсы, конечно, бургеры во всех возможных видах. 31 российский проект представил свои образцы вниманию судейской комиссии в составе официального судьи WACS Л.В.Гелибтермана и президента ФРиО И.О.Бухарова. Решение жюри было единогласным. Финалистами отборочного тура стали проекты «Mr. ПеПец», представивший блюдо под названием Amber balls и проект «Один хычин», представивший хычин по-карачаевски. А победителем стал проект «Драники» госпожи Малиновской (Калининград), которая вместе со своими дочерями приготовила четыре вида драников с начинкой. Теперь эту семью в конце сентября ждут на Чемпионате Европы по уличной еде в шведском Мальмё.
On August 30-31, the ICWAG president Leonid Gelibterman was a member of the European Street Food Awards Russian qualifying round jury. Tens of thousands of Kaliningraders and guests of the city participated in the extensive program of a street food picnic on the Island of Kant. More than 60 projects from Russia, Belarus, Estonia and Poland offered guests the dishes of meat and fish, pilaf and dolma, pancakes and baklava, coffee and fruit drinks, and of course, burgers of all forms. 31 Russian projects presented their production to the panel of judges composed of the official judge of the WACS L. Gelibterman and the president of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia O. Bukharov. The jury's decision was unanimous. The project «Mr. PePets», which presented a dish called Amber balls, and the project «Odin Khychin», which presented Karachay-style khychins, became the finalists of the qualifying round. The project «Draniki» by Mrs. Malinovskaya (Kaliningrad) who cooked four types of potato stuffed draniks together with her daughters, became a winner. Now the family will participate in the European Street Food Championship that will be held at the end of September in Malmo, Sweden.
